I have been looking into the possibility of creating a selection of top trump cards as part of the contents of the intro pack I am developing. The card itself will give the new people a taste of who is already on the course and how they feel about it. Instead of categories of strength and speed on the original ones, these cards will have skill and quotes from the soon to be second years, based on first year experiences.
After looking around for top trump cards that are already on the market I found these 'Type Trump' cards developed by Rick Banks of Face37.com. Pretty nifty, eh? maybe only if your a designer. I just think it is a cool way to explore type without having to read a lot of books, not that books aren't fun.Each card gives you a different typeface and identifies its weight aswell as rates legibility.
