Alex Ostrowski's website caught my eye whilst looking for ideas for my book design brief. Take a look at his work. This book entitled 'Notes to Self' is a simplistic yet intriguing book. With no real literary on display the eye is draw to these quite spontaneous sketches. The coloured pages give each image a different feel. Even though it is digitised, it still holds its handmade feel. It's oversized scale appeals as it replicates old children's story books and takes artwork back down to something we can hold and interact with but in a book format. 
On a personal level, I don't really have much interest in huge novels as I have quite a short attention span but this really appeals to me.
